What is a Cocktailer?

What is a Cocktailer?

A Cocktailer is a 32 oz glass bottle designed for mixing delicious, perfectly balanced cocktails—without the mess or guesswork.

Each bottle features easy-to-follow pour-to lines, so there's no need to measure or memorize recipes. Just pour, shake, and serve.

Leftovers? No problem. The Cocktailer is made for mixing, storing, and enjoying—at your pace.

Effortless cocktails. Every time.

How do I use it?

Mix

1.   Add Ingredients Bottom-Up

Pour the cocktail ingredients into your Cocktailer in order, starting from the
bottom of the Cocktailer.

Tip: A funnel can help, but isn’t necessary if you have a steady hand.

2.  Shake Well

Shake the Cocktailer to fully mix the ingredients.

Pour

1.   Serve Chilled or Over Ice

Cocktailers are strong—you should taste the alcohol. If it’s too intense:

o  Add ice or icy water when pouring to soften the flavor without upsetting the balance.

o  Don’t adjust the recipe by adding too much juice or too little alcohol—it will throw off the taste.

2.   Serving from the Freezer

o  Frozen Cocktailers thaw quickly due to the alcohol content.

o  Some recipes don’t freeze solid at all—just shake and pour.

Store

1.   Refrigerate or Freeze

After mixing, store your Cocktailer in the fridge or freezer until ready to serve.

2.   Optional: Add Water Before Freezing

o  Add a splash of water before freezing to mellow the cocktail and simulate the effect of melting ice.

o  There is space at the top of the Cocktailer to accommodate the added water.

Return to Storage After Pouring
After use, return the Cocktailer to the fridge or freezer to keep it fresh and
ready for your next round.

I have a recipe I like, Can you make custom Bottles?

Can I Get a Custom Cocktailer with My Own Recipe?

Not yet. Custom bottles are a future possibility, and we love hearing
your ideas. If you have a favorite recipe you’d like to see on a Cocktailer,
make a note under the “Experimenting”
section.

If enough people request the same recipe, who knows—it might just make the cut!

How can I use my Cocktailer to make a Mocktail?

Select each specific Cocktailer to see specific recipes on substitutions for each ingredient.

Generally, one way to turn your Cocktailer into a Mocktailer is to simply
replace the liquor with a “spirit free” version of the liquor. More and more
companies are offering “spirit free” versions. Just like with alcohol, each
brand has its own flavor profile. You will need to experiment to see which you
like.

Another way is to make your own based on the flavor profile of the
liquor.

Try these:

  • Vodka →
    water + a squeeze of lemon/lime.
  • Gin →
tonic water or a splash of juniper syrup.
  • Rum →
    molasses mixed with pineapple juice.
  • Tequila
→ agave syrup + lime juice + splash of soda water.
  • Triple sec (orange liqueur) → orange juice + orange
    zest.
  • Coffee
liqueur → strong brewed coffee + sugar.
  • Amaretto
→ almond extract + simple syrup.

Cocktails have nuance and depth that is hard to replicate in a
Mocktail.  Adding some sparkle and flavor
helps add that nuance and depth. Try adding sparling water or tonic water to your
Mocktail. I particularly like adding tonic water for the herbal notes. Muddled
or torn mint, basil, rosemary or thyme make nice additions. Flavored sodas like
blood orange or grapefruit can make a big difference. A bit of ginger beer or
ginger ale adds a lot of flavor.
