Choosing the Liquor
The actual brand of alcohol used matters. The flavor is different between brands. We all have our preferences. It is best to select a liquor that you like straight. Higher-end brands will make better cocktails. You can also add unusual flavors or flavored alcohol. For instance, I find that a bit of elder-flower liqueur makes many drinks taste better. I encourage you to post your ideas. I will do the same.
